Directed by Sriram Raghavan, ‘Ikkis’ is a biographical war drama based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, an Indian Army officer who was martyred during the Indo-Pak War of 1971 at the age of 21. The film’s title reflects that defining age, underscoring the tragedy and bravery of a life cut short in service of the nation.
Khetarpal was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honour.
