With a bittersweet but ultimately hopeful ending after five seasons of intense emotional turmoil, The Bear offers a perfect conclusion to the character arc of Carmy Berzatto. It allows for the story to move past the usual chaos in the kitchen into something more positive.

The biggest twist is The Bear receiving not one but two Michelin stars, as this recognises the many sacrifices that Carmy, Sydney, Richie, and everyone else made throughout the show.
