Dupahiya is officially set to return on OTT with its second season and has won hearts with its performances and by creating a laughter riot. The cast will also reprise their roles in the new season as Prime Video has dropped its exciting trailer. Know what’s in store for the people of Dhadakpur and when you can watch the series on OTT.

Dupahiya Season 2 Release Date Out:

Dupahiya Season 2 will release on Prime Video on October 1, 2026.
Sharing the trailer for Dupahiya Season 2, Prime Video wrote, “gaanv wahi, bas ab dhadakpur crime free nahi #DupahiyaOnPrime, New Season, Oct 1.”

Dupahiya Season 2 Trailer:

A chaos emerges in the village as Banwari’s barren land is selected for the installation of a mobile tower. Things take a hilarious turn after the villagers begin connecting the tower to everything from typhoid to tsunamis and reject the development.
Amid the chaos, Bhugol also finds himself in the centre of attention as he becomes famous but in an unexpected way. Meanwhile, Roshini focuses on her life and prepares for the SSC exam. Crime is still lurking in Dhadakpur as  Inspector Mithlesh investigates a possible scam into the village’s tower-related confusion.
While talking about the show, Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals (SVOD), Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios India, said in a statement, "The greatest testament of success for us is when a story instantly connects with audiences. When the characters start becoming part of dinner-table conversations, we know we've done something right. ‘Dupahiya’ is a perfect example of this. The first season received so much love from audiences and performed incredibly well on the service.”

Dupahiya Season 2 Cast and Crew:

The series stars Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Bhuvan Arora in the lead roles. It is created by Avinash Dwivedi, Chirag Garg, Salona Bains Joshi, and Shubh Shivdasani.
The first season focused on Dhadakpur, who is celebrating 25 years without crime but is thrown into chaos when a dowry motorbike mysteriously disappears. With the jubilee trophy, an upcoming wedding, and the town’s reputation at stake, the villagers embark on a frantic search to recover the stolen bike before it’s too late.
