This year, The Pitt dominated the nominations with 25 nods, followed by Apple TV's hit series Widow's Bay with 19 nominations. Mariska Hargitay, who is best known for playing Olivia Benson in a popular crime show, 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit', was host of the Emmys for the first time. She thoroughly entertained the audience and even joined by pop star Taylor Swift in a sketch.

Some of the biggest highlights was the winners urging people to support new stories and continue making creative content without the pressure of higher ups. Zendaya, Selena Gomez and several big named graced the ceremony too.
