Lenin has officially become a hit with Akhil Akkineni fans celebrating his much awaited success. Akhil’s past few projects faced financial failures at the box office despite having potential. However, the actor promised his fans that he will be back with a promising project, and Lenin turned out to be that. The movie had an excellent performance over the first weekend, crossing the lifetime earnings of his last film, Agent.

Lenin Box Office Collection Weekend:

According to the website Sacnilk, Lenin collected Rs 9.65 crore on day 3, witnessing an increase again. It earned Rs 8.65 crore on day 2 and Rs 7.15 crore on day 3. The movie has surpassed the lifetime collection of Agent, Akhil's last film, which was a financial failure.

Who plays what in Lenin?

Akhil is seen in the title role of Lenin, whereas Bhagyashri plays his love interest, Bharathi. Pramod Panju is seen as Vasanth, Ramesh Indira as MLA Raghava Reddy, Easwari Rao as Jayanthi, Ramki as Neelakantam, Sivaji as Yatirajulu, Sunil as Parthasaradhi IPS, among others.

What is the plot of Lenin?

Set in Chittoor, the movie follows Lenin and Bharathi's love story, but their romance creates a conflict in the village. Lenin has to protect his love while dealing with political tensions.
The producer of Lenin, while speaking to Gulte Pro, assured that the movie will not disappoint the audience and will be a commercial hit. He said, "The general audience will not come out saying they are disappointed with Lenin. Definitely not, 200 per cent, no one will say that. And I say this after thinking it over carefully from all angles.”
The movie is directed and written by Murali Kishor Abburu and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banners of Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments.
Despite the mixed reviews, Lenin turned out to be a decent commercial entertainer. With no big films clashing at the box office, the movie is expected to continue to have good earnings.
