Drishyam 3: The Conclusion will hit theatres in just a few days, and fans of the franchise are counting down. Ajay Devgn is back as Vijay Salgaonkar for the final chapter, and the advance booking has already started off on a good note. Drishyam 3 Advance Booking Update

With a few days still left for the release, Drishyam 3 has already earned Rs 8.37 crore gross from advance booking. Around 2.09 lakh tickets have been sold across India, as per Sacnilk. The film opened its bookings in the evening, about six days before release, and sold around 5,000 tickets at PVR Inox and Cinepolis on the very first night. That number has now gone up to nearly 35,000 tickets at the national chains.

The release date is also working in the film's favour. Drishyam 3 comes out on 2 October, which is a national holiday, so people will have the day off to watch it. Saturday, 3 October is filling up too. The film has made Rs 2.86 crore gross from 73,226 tickets for that day alone, and seven shows are already sold out. Maharashtra is leading with Rs 87.04 lakh, followed by Delhi with Rs 63.95 lakh and Gujarat with Rs 30.14 lakh.

You can book your tickets online through the PVR Inox and Cinepolis platforms. Since it is a holiday release, it is better to book early if you want good seats.

 

Drishyam 3 Box Office: What Does The Early Response Suggest?

As per Pinkvilla, Drishyam 3 may collect Rs 50 to 60 crore nett on day 1, with the pinpoint estimate at Rs 55 crore. The number could go up further if advance booking keeps picking up in the next few days. The film is also doing well overseas, where it is likely to get the best opening ever for an Ajay Devgn film.

Drishyam 3 Story And Cast

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also directed Drishyam 2. The franchise follows a family man who covers up an accidental killing to protect his wife and daughters, and then ends up in a battle of wits with the police officer investigating the case. This time the makers have gone for a fresh story. Pathak has said it is a completely new story with nothing to do with the Malayalam film, and he has called it the darkest chapter yet for Vijay Salgaonkar. The makers have not shared a detailed plot, so the story is being kept under wraps ahead of release.

 

Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, along with Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor. Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and Ishita Dutta are among the actors in the lead roles. Jaideep Ahlawat is a new addition and plays a cop who is after Vijay in the trailer.
