Film is not confined to the screen only; the range is much wider than that. A good story does not come to an end with the end credits; rather, it generates discussion and stays alive in the memory of people in the silence of moments when people find their reflection on the silver screen. It is the same vision that has inspired Rajnigandha Presents Jagran Film Festival 2026, the biggest travel film festival in the world and a flagship project of Dainik Jagran. Apart from promoting cinema, the film festival has started a movement that helps connect real-life stories with people's day-to-day lives outside the auditorium.

This Year, The Festival Is Taking Its Spotlight To The Corporate World

Throughout the past, Jagran Film Festival has maintained an aim towards its primary goal. This has involved promoting quality cinema for everyone through the festival, which promotes independent voices, strong narratives, and stories, and which has moved to many different places in order to ensure that such stories get to the audience. This year, it has selected a different venue: the corporate workplace.

In this campaign, Jagran Film Festival has organised a special workplace screening of 'Namaste Sir', and has turned the busy office into a reflective place of experience sharing. The idea was very straightforward and yet very inspiring for people in corporate places who spend their entire lives on deadlines and everyday chores and who should remember the importance of stories in their lives.

Started As An Architecture And Interior Design Studio

This new project from Jagran Film Festival was inaugurated on June 18 at Sanskruti Chandrak Architects, which is a huge space for architecture and interior design in Sector 35 of Faridabad. The studio has about 150 architects, designers, and creative professionals working for them, and it is named ‘Inspiring Spaces.’

But on this particular day, it became the place where films were shown and discussed. It began with showing films, but soon became a discussion among colleagues regarding the images shown in those movies and the values and feelings associated with them. This event showcased that creativity does not only lie in designing but also in storytelling.

The process resumed on June 19th at ‘Mad Influence,’ where creators, brands, and digital content share a new story each day. But not this particular day, as cinema became the protagonist. It started with an interactive session, which made the atmosphere buzzing with energy and fun.

As the film was playing, those in attendance got into reflection mode and calmness settled in the air. Later, in the conversation, it became clear just how much cinema is able to unite people in their professional capacities. And these movies have left many discussions to be had after the screening.

Technology Gave Way To The Art Of Storytelling

On 11th July, the Jagran Film Festival made its way to Ekka Electronics - a venue of innovation and technology coming together. However, for once, technology gave way to the art of storytelling. This was not just another movie-watching session, but an experience shared by employees to take back something to cherish. The movie Namaste Sir moved the employees by making them contemplate the significance of being kind and grateful in this world of constant hustle. The discussion was a reminder that while innovation is all about pushing boundaries, empathy gives it direction.

The final leg of our corporate journey took place on 15th July at Backspace Coworking, Sector 63, Noida - a workplace of more than 350 professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators. In the midst of a busy work environment, screening offered a chance to slow down and enjoy some good vibes. While coworkers came together to watch the film, it turned out to be a platform for engaging conversations and self-reflection.

Applause for the film is not just a sign of appreciation for the movie but also for the impact of the story.

Cinema Need Not Be Limited To Theatres

Such screenings help us realise that cinema is not restricted to theatres alone. A good story well told will prompt a conversation even in a boardroom. It will enhance relationships in the office and encourage empathy among colleagues, thus creating a bond. By showcasing meaningful cinema at workplaces, the Jagran Film Festival reaffirms its conviction that every individual has the right to good stories that bring people together.

While travelling around India through its journey, the Jagran Film Festival still maintains its aim of promoting meaningful cinema and making it available to all kinds of audiences. Apart from hosting carefully selected movies, the festival also conducts masterclasses and panel discussions involving eminent film personalities.

Jagran Film Festival Is Much More Than Films

The Jagran Film Festival is not about movies alone. It is about dialogue, diversity of opinions and perspectives, and also about making us realise that the most powerful stories are those that affect people's lives and are not necessarily applauded for it.
