The eagerly awaited action thriller movie, ‘Alpha,’ has finally been released in theatres all over the country because of its thrilling stunts and performances by famous actors. With lead roles taken up by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, the movie started well and managed to gross ₹3 crore in bookings on the first day itself. Though the beginning of the film may be considered somewhat slow when compared with previous movies in the franchise that were helmed by males and had grand openings, trade analysts are quite confident about the film. The occupancy rate in multiplexes in big cities such as Mumbai and Delhi will give it a boost during afternoons and evenings.

Alpha Box Office Collection Day 1

As per Sacnilk, on Day 1, Alpha is currently running across 4,918 shows and has collected a net of ₹3.05 cr today. This brings total India gross collections to ₹3.60 cr and total India net to ₹3.05 cr so far, with India final collections yet to be reported.

Final Advance Booking Figures

Before the movie’s release, Alpha had earned Rs 3.06 crore from advance sales of tickets through selling tickets to almost 90,000 people across India.

The major contribution to booking revenue was made by three national multiplex circuits including PVR, INOX and Cinepolis, where tickets worth almost 39,000 were sold for earning a gross of nearly Rs 1.50 crore. Out of them, PVR earned around 21,500 tickets, followed by INOX with 12,000 tickets, while Cinepolis collected 5,500 tickets.

The film is based on an action thriller that focuses on the theme of an intense action flick being introduced in India starring women. The two girls have no other option but to team up and deal with an extremely dangerous villain.
