Celebrity Style Takes Centre Stage At Milan Fashion Week 2026

Milan Fashion Week isn't just a fashion week for clothes, this season it's felt more like a series of goodbyes and beginnings, all happening at once. Here's what's actually worth your attention.

1. Vogue World Finally Landed In Milan

After doing the rounds in New York, London, Paris and LA, Vogue World picked Milan for its fifth edition, and honestly it felt overdue. The whole thing played out inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, that stunning glass-domed arcade sitting right between the Duomo and La Scala, with the theme "The Human Touch in the Age of Technology."

Basically Milan reminding everyone that craftsmanship still means something, even in an AI-saturated year.

2. Dhruv Kapoor Opened The Week For India, With Puma And RCB In Tow

Dhruv Kapoor walked his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled Presence, on Milan's opening day, right alongside Prada and Diesel. And tucked into that same show was a first for the IPL, PUMA India teamed up with him to bring Royal Challengers Bengaluru's fandom onto the runway, with statement jackets that reworked existing PUMA pieces through Kapoor's design lens.

It's just chapter one too, a bigger drop is coming ahead of IPL 2027 in March.

3. Glenn Martens Said Goodbye To Diesel, In The Same Breath He Opened MFW

Big one for anyone who's followed Diesel's comeback over the last few years. Martens' Spring/Summer 2027 show on September 22 was his last as Diesel's creative director, closing out a six-year run that basically pulled the brand back into the centre of fashion conversation.

He isn't going anywhere though, he stays on fully as creative director of Maison Margiela. Still, an era-ending show on opening day is about as dramatic an entrance as MFW gets.

4. Giorgio Armani's 50 Years Are Being Celebrated All Week

This edition doubles as a tribute to Armani's half-century in fashion. A retrospective with 150 archival pieces opened at Pinacoteca di Brera, and Armani's own show is closing out the week, so the whole calendar is basically bookended by his legacy this season.

5. Maria Grazia Chiuri's Sophomore Act At Fendi

Chiuri's Fendi debut earlier this year got people talking, and this week she's back with her second collection for the house. All eyes are on whether she sharpens the direction she introduced or takes it somewhere new.

Three days into Milan and it's already proof that fashion week isn't just about what's on the runway, it's about who's stepping up, stepping down, and stepping in.
