1. 3 Idiots, Leh Ladakh

Ladakh was already a popular destination and has been depicted in movies like Dil Se, Lakshya, and many more. But 3 Idiots gave it new life, with its climax filmed at the stunning Pangong Tso lake and the Druk White Lotus School.

2. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Udaipur

In the second half of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Udaipur was not just a location but also a character in the film. It served as Aditi's wedding destination and became a way to bring Bunny and Naina closer as they explored the city. The movie showed City Palace, Jag Mandir Palace,
Gangaur Ghat, and much more.  

3. Jab We Met, Manali and Rohtang Pass

Geet and Aditya had a long journey across India in Jab We Met, but the audience ultimately fell in love with the picturesque views of Manali and Rohtang Pass shown in the song 'Yeh Ishq Hai'. It was already a popular destination for snow but the movie glamourised it even more.

5. Main Hoon Na, Darjeeling

From the misty mountains and the toy trains, Main Hoon Na showcased Darjeeling beautiful even though it was featured for a few moments. No one can forget the iconic moment of Shah Rukh Khan coming out of a train with scarf and trench coat. It was shot at St. Paul's School in the city. Later, Darjeeling was depicted beautifully in Barfi too.
