Formula 1 enthusiasts who are planning to attend the Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix 2026 have received very happy news. To facilitate international and sports tourism, the Azerbaijan government has officially announced a facility of Visa-On-Arrival, specially for fans, official staff and participants. This high-speed race is scheduled to take place on 26th September, across the acclaimed Baku city circuit.

Upon arrival at airport immigration control, foreign citizens and stateless persons must present at least one of the following official documents:

  • FOM or FIA Accreditation: An official accreditation card or credential issued in accordance with the regulatory framework of Formula One Management Limited or the International Automobile Federation (FIA).

  • Baku City Circuit Accreditation: An official accreditation card issued directly by the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.

    • Submitting any one of these required documents will allow the immigration officers to provide Visa-On-Arrival on the spot. 


    Rules For Non-Ticket Holders 

    Travellers wishing to visit Azerbaijan without any intention to attend the Grand Prix 2026, will not be eligible for the Visa-On-Arrival program of the government. General tourists or business travellers must follow the standard visa process of Azerbaijan. 

    • ASAN e-Visa System: The primary option for tourists is the official electronic visa portal, known as ASAN Visa.
