Anxiety is a natural reaction to stressful or hazardous situations. It is characterised by increased heart rate, rapid breathing and feeling of tiredness. Sometimes, anxiety may become persistent and uncontrollable, interfering with daily activities. This may then result in an anxiety disorder. Practicing these yoga asanas suggested by yoga instructor Shikha Mehra, regularly, can help fight daily stress and anxiety.
