What Is PCOS?

As the name implies, this diseases refers to the development of too many cysts in the ovaries. Growth of cysts in this egg-producing organ of our body can lead to hormonal imbalance which, in turn, causes a variety of problems. 

What Are The Early Signs Of Hormonal Imbalance?

  • Irregular periods
  • Abnormal weight gain, especially round the belly
  • Skin problems like pimples become common and hair growth is affected. Women with PCOS can have hirsutism which is growth of excessive hair in places where you don’t want while hair at the usual places starts thinning out.
