The best way to stop that is through calorie burn through cardio. It is recommended at-least three to five times a week for 30-50 minutes. This will improve heart and lung capacity, calorie burn and it will also create endorphins which reduces stress and anxiety.

When properly performed, strength training can provide significant functional benefits and improvement in overall health and well-being, including increased bone, muscle, tendon, and improved joint function, reduced potential for injury.

From the age of 30, you lose a bit of muscle mass every year. To reverse it you need to trained. Gym is not the answer to everything, you can also practice some workouts like planks and squats.

If you do so regularly, you will slowly see that soreness going. You will feel your range of motion increase as well.

Every week it is crucial to incorporate cardio and strength training atleast thrice, and flexibility training everyday.
