2019 Nur-Sultan Worlds - Bronze: Vinesh defeated Paris gold medallist Sarah Hildebrandt and three-time world medallist Maria Prevolaraki of Greece in the repechage to win bronze.

2018 Jakarta - Gold: Vinesh bagged her first gold medal at the Asian Games in 2018. It was a historic moment for India as she became the first Indian woman wrestler to win gold in the Asian Games.
