Ella D’Verma, 19, originally named Dev Verma, was born as a male in Delhi. After years of noticing feminine qualities in herself and facing body dysphoria issues, she finally began her transformation journey during the pandemic. Beating all the odds, today, Ella has become the Trans Face Model of Zivame. In 2023, she also became the first runner-up in Miss Trans Queen. Ella D Verma is a profound example of resilience and inspiration.

What Is It Like To Date Trans Women?

During a conversation with ABP Uncut, Ella was asked ‘What is it like to date a trans-women,’ to which, Ella mentioned the challenges that come with it. “Do you wanna be seen with me because if you are seen with me then your friends will have ten things to say, your parents will have ten things to say. So, dating is easy but the future and love and all those things are really complicated,” said Ella.

“Initially people used to tell me who will marry you? Who will love you? No one loves girls like you. But then I came to realize that getting real love is difficult for everyone, not just me. I remember once Rekha Ji said if you are looking for love then you've chosen the most difficult task of all,” she added.

“But I think this is where I got lucky, bhagwan ki banavat esi hai unhone mujhe aisa banaya hai ki mujhe milega to pyar hi milega (God's design is such that he has made me in such a way that if I get it, I will get love only) because if you think about it I cannot give a man children, I cannot take his blood line forward, I can't give him status. Being with me means people are gonna have negative things to say. So, if I have nothing to give but love then the person who chooses me will love me truly. That's something you know that really makes me feel happy,” Ella concluded.
