The thunderous standing ovation continued for 2 minutes as the legendary actress Meryl Streep was honoured with the Palme d'Or at the Cannes 2024 Film Festival on May 14, 2024. The 74-year-old Hollywood actress became emotional as she accepted the award and the showering respect from more than 2,000 guests who packed the Grand Lumiere Theatre. Model Paola Turani graced the event in Rahul Mishra couture hand-embroidered ‘The Marvel’ snake sequin corset dress from the Couture Spring 2024 collection, ‘Superheroes’. The black gown featured a strapless neckline and flared fit from the waist down with sheer panels over its length. It also showcased a corset bodice and silver sequin detailing that sparkled on the base of black. Driving all attention to herself, Paola chose a string of diamonds around her neck and ears along with rings in the silver shade.
