Brahmāstra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and it is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Mukerji (in his debut production).
The film is a fantasy action-adventure film. Brahmāstra was announced in 2014 and it had a scheduled release date for 2016, but the film kept getting delayed. It was finally released in the theatres on September 9, 2022.
