Understanding Washing Machine Capacity: What's Right for Your Family?

The selection of the appropriate capacity of the washing machine simply depends on the number of people in the family, frequency of washing, and types of fabrics being washed.

• Capacity of 1-2 Members (6 to 7 kg): Mostly ideal for bachelors or couples who have a few clothing washing requirements and can be accommodated by the machine's compact drum.
• Capacity of 3-4 Members (7 to 8 kg): Mostly preferred by the average Indian family who can wash clothes, bedsheets, and light blankets in one week's time.
• Capacity of 5 or more Members (8 kg+): Mostly ideal for large or joint families who have heavier laundry requirements on an everyday basis.

Simple Tip to Decide: Selecting a slightly bigger capacity helps wash relatively heavier laundry needs less often, thus saving time and power.
