Day 1 Shailputri- Colour Pink
The festival of Navratri starts with the colour pink. It said that Goddess Shailputri is dressed in pink colour and devotees are advised to offer Pink Flowers to the goddess.
Day 2 Brahamacharini- Colour White
Goddess Brahamacharini penances for lord Shiva and during these whole years, she wears white clothes, which represent peace and celibacy. It is advised to offer mogra flowers to the goddess.
Day 3 Chandraghanta- Colour Red
Maa Chandraghanta wears red clothes representing strength and courage. Devotees must offer red flowers to the goddess.
Day 4 Kushmanda- Colour Orange
The vibrant colour orange represents energy and power. Goddess Kushmanda is a source of light so this colour is devoted to her. One should offer daisy flowers to the goddess.
Day 5 Skandmata- Colour Yellow
Skandmata loves wearing yellow and this colour represents the nurturing nature of the mother. One is advised to offer yellow clothes or flowers to the Goddess.
Day 6 Katyayani- Colour Maroon
Maa Katyayani loves wearing maroon, this colour represents dedication and willpower. Devotees are advised to offer maroon-coloured flowers and clothes to the goddess on the sixth day of Navratri.
Day 7 Kaalratri- Colour Navy Blue
Navy blue colour is devoted to Maa Kalratri and it is believed that the one who offers navy blue colour clothes and flowers to the goddess, gets rid of evil forces and enemies.
Day 8 Mahagauri- Colour Green
Mahagauri is fond of the green colour as she purifies her heart and soul. One who offers green clothes and worships her gets blessed with marital happiness.
Day 9 Siddhidatri- Colour Beige
Sidhhiratri loves beige colour and this colour represents clarity and peace. One who worships Siddhiratri gets blessed with all types of siddhis and tantras. She brings clarity to life.
