The water that comes from the borewell sources usually contains some risks that are not visible to the naked eye. The borewell water will always have a high TDS content as compared to other water sources, leading to an increased salt content and minerals in it. There could be other impurities, such as hardness, iron, dirt, odour, and bacteria, caused by soil contamination. Moreover, consuming water from such a source regularly may result in stomach disorders, kidney strain, and a bitter taste in foods or even in tea. Apart from this, it will also leave white deposits on dishes and corrode geysers, faucets, and dishwashers. Additionally, regular filters will not solve all these problems, as well as a proper purifier is needed, depending on the TDS levels.
