Realme has brought some Wizarding World magic to its smartphone lineup with the new Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition. Developed with Warner Bros. Discovery, the special edition keeps the hardware of the regular Realme 16 Pro but gives it a completely different identity through Hogwarts-themed design and software. The phone features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, 200MP camera and a large 7,000mAh battery.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Price and Launch
Realme has announced the phone in India, but the company has not yet revealed its official price or sale date. A Flipkart microsite is already live, indicating that the handset is expected to be sold through Flipkart, while Realme's India website is also expected to offer it.
For context, the regular Realme 16 Pro 5G currently starts at ₹42,999 in India, although its pricing varies by configuration. The Harry Potter Edition's final price should therefore be treated as unconfirmed until Realme makes an official announcement.
Hogwarts Design Takes Centre Stage
The biggest change is on the outside. The Harry Potter Edition gets a Hogwarts inspired rear design with a prominent crest and franchise branding. Earlier leaked images showed a dark-brown, leather like textured finish with gold detailing, while Realme has now confirmed the Hogwarts-themed treatment.
The Harry Potter theme does not stop at the rear panel. Realme says the phone also gets themed elements across its software, making the special edition feel different during everyday use rather than simply being a new colour variant.
Same Hardware, Familiar Realme 16 Pro Performance
Under the themed exterior, the phone retains the standard Realme 16 Pro's hardware. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1,272x2,772-pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness and 240Hz touch sampling.
The handset runs on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
200MP Camera and 7,000mAh Battery Stay
The camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front camera. The phone also carries a 7,000mAh Titan battery with 80W wired charging.
The New Angle: This Is More Collector Phone Than Upgrade
The interesting part is that Realme has not used the Harry Potter branding to introduce faster hardware or a bigger battery. Instead, the company has turned an existing phone into a character-driven product. That makes the design, themed software and potential availability more important than specifications for this edition.
This is also Realme's second Warner Bros. Discovery collaboration after the Realme 15 Pro 5G Game of Thrones Limited Edition launched in India in 2025.
