Ingredients required

    You will need 50 gm of oats, 50 gms of moong dal, 50 gms peas, 1 carrot, 2 tsp ghee, salt to taste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, red chilli powder and three cups of water.

Step-1

    Heat some ghee in a pressure cooker and add onions, carrots and peas into it. Saute them for 30 seconds.

Step-2

    Now, add all the spices and cook until the ghee separates.

Step 3

    Add oats and wash moong dal. Now, mix it well and cook for 1 minute.

Step 4

    Add water, stir well and pressure cook for 3-4 minutes.

    Garnish with some ghee and coriander leaves. The khichdi is ready.
