UC Browser Turbo 1.9 Witnesses 12 Million Downloads In India, 20 Million Users Globally

Browser with minimalist design from UCWeb, UC Browser Turbo 1.9, which is a part of Alibaba Innovation Initiatives Business Group, has received truly positive response since its launch. The latest version that has multiple improvements has clocked 20 million downloads globally with 12 million alone in the Indian market. It has a large number of users in India and Indonesia.

It is available in 23 languages including Hindi, English, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Thai and Russian. It was launched in 148 countries and regions.

Private Space enables users to hide downloaded online videos or files and encrypt with a password, creating a privately-owned space. “Video Playing in The Background” helps users liberate hands and eyes as it allows them to listen to exciting videos including cricket matches, MTVs from Youtube while they are doing other things.

UC Browser Turbo 1.9 weighs 35M for 32-bit version while 40MB for 64-bit version and comes with a stylish design, smooth interface, fast surfing and downloading.

The browser also has a new ‘Share’ function, which enables the users to share website pages and other details with another user. The browser offers multi-language support, which is can be customised. It also has a Quick Search function as well Private Browsing and Free Cloud Acceleration within the app.

UC Browser Turbo’s servers can stabilize downloads in record time. The download improves when it is set on high download threads. The browser allows users to download their preferred videos in advance so they can watch them even without an active internet connection.

The homepage is also customizable, which allows users to add preferred websites and pages to the home page from Bookmarks, and delete all the default sites to get a blank homepage. The homepage also supports users’ pictures as a background.
