Uunchai, the Hindi film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher, among others, released in theatres on November 11, 2022. Directed by Sooraj Barjatiya, the film follows the story of three aged friends who take a trek to the Everest Base Camp in order to fulfil the last wish of their fourth friend. As they battle their physical limitations and discover the meaning of freedom, the film unfolds as the trek takes a simple, emotional, and spiritual journey. The film also stars Sarika, Danny Denzongpa, Nafisa Ali Sodhi, Sheen Dass, Abhishek Singh Pathania, and Raju Kher.
HIT: The Second Case- Amazon Prime Video- January 6
Starring Telugu stars Adivi Sesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Rao Ramesh, the crime thriller HIT: The Second Case is a sequel to the 2020 popular Telugu film HIT: The First Case. The first instalment went on to become a blockbuster hit at the box office and was remade in Hindi starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead that released earlier in 2022. In the second upcoming instalment the story follows Krishna Dev (played by Sesh) who solves a serial murder case in Visakhapatnam.
