In today's era, when children can’t stand the sight of their aged parents and leave them to wither away in obscure old age homes, a Mysuru man has tugged many heartstrings by taking his mother to pilgrimage. Recently Manoj Kumar, CEO of Naandi Foundation, has shared a video in which we can see a man who quit his job to take his 70-year-old mother on a pilgrimage.

According to the video shared by Manoj Kumar, Dakshinmurthy Krishna Kumar quit his job to travel with his mother on his 20-year-old Bajaj Chetak scooter. Why? His ageing mother, Choodarathna, was living alone in Mysuru and wanted to see Hampi.

The mother-son duo has covered a distance of 25,000 km and visited most of the temples across Karnataka, as well as in other states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
