For all those who love sweets know what it's like having a sweet bite just after meals. Do you always look for something sweet? While there are lots of sweet options available out in the market but there is nothing like 'Ghar Ki Mithaai'. If you are someone who feels preparing sweets at home is a tough task, let us tell you that you can actually prepare some sweets easily at home. Here are two easy barfi recipes that are easy to prepare and turn out to be delicious:

Kaju Ki Barfi

Ingredients:

250 gm kaju or cashew nuts

250 gm sugar

240 gm milk

Silver leaves to decorate barfi 

Directions:

Blend all cashews in a mixer with milk until it turns into a paste. Now take a pan and add this kaju paste. Add sugar and cook till it dissolves. Keep stirring till the time this mixture is fully cooked. Remove from flame and let it cool. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a sheet. Layer with silver sheet and cut into diamond shape pieces. Your homemade kaju katli is ready! 

Coconut Barfi

Ingredients:

2 cups grated coconut

1 cup sugar 

1/2 cup fresh cream 

Green cardamom powder to taste

1/2 tbsp ghee 

Almonds/ cashews to garnish

Directions:

In a non-stick pan, add grated coconut, sugar, fresh cream and sprinkle green cardamom powder. Cook well. Remove from flame and let it cool. Now grease a thali with ghee and pour the entire mixture on the thali. Spread evenly and cut into small square bites. You can garnish them with almonds or cashews.  Serve.
