Ingredients

  • 50 gm edible gum
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 200 gm lotus seed
  • 3/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 200 gm grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup melon seeds
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 30 gm ghee

Instructions

Step 1
To prepare this healthy and mouth-watering dessert, start frying gond in a pan over a medium to light flame. Once it starts changing its texture and gets transparent in colour, then turn off the flame and keep it aside.
Step 2
Next, shallow fry lotus seeds (makhana) in a separate pan until they turns crispy. After the lotus seeds are done frying, transfer them to a blender and coarsely grind lotus seeds in it. You can also grind cashews and almonds in it.
Step 3
In a separate pan, add water, sugar & cardamom powder & let it boil until it reaches one string consistency. Once it is done, turn off the flame, add all the ingredients to it and mix well.
