  • 1 Egg + 1 Yolk
  • 150 Mg Cream Cheese
  • Softened
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Lemon Juice
  • One 500 Mg Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets
  • Thawed


Step 1
Preheat the oven at 400°F and line two trays with parchment/butter paper.
Step 2
Beat the egg and add 1/2 tablespoon water to it, then keep aside.
Step 3
Now mix and beat the egg yolk, cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract in a bowl until it turns into a smooth paste.
Step 4
Take 2 sheets of puff pastry and cut 4 squares out of it.
Step 5
Fold the corners of the squares inside to give it an octagon shape.
Step 6
Then fill the cream cheese paste in the center of the octagons.
Step 7
Then brush all of the exposed puff pastry sheets with egg wash and dust some sugar over it.
Step 8
Bake for about 15-18 minutes until the puffs turn golden brown. Cool them down at room temperature and then serve.
