Ingredients

  • 3 Boiled Potatoes
  • 2 Cups Fox Nuts
  • 2 Tbsp Peanuts
  • 2 Chopped Green Chillies
  • Handful Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Black Salt As Per Taste
  • 1 Tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • Black Pepper As Per Taste
  • Oil For Frying
  • 4 Cashews
  • 4 Almonds
  • 3 Tsp Rajgira Flour

Instructions

Step 1
Heat a pan and dry roast the lotus seeds and then grind to make coarse powder.
Step 2
Dry roast the peanuts and grind.
Step 3
Chop all the dry fruits.
Step 4
Mash the potatoes.
Step 5
Now, mix the makhana with peanuts, coriander leaves, chillies and rajgira flour.
Step 6
Add in the salt and other spices and then divide the dough into equal potions.
Step 7
Flatten each portion to make the tikkis and stuff them with chopped dry fruits, seal the edges.
Step 8
Roll the patties in your hand to smoothen them and deep fry on medium flame until golden brown.

Serve with chutney.
