Ingredients

  • 300 g baby potato
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tej patta
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp kasuri methi
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream

Instructions

Step 1
Wash baby potatoes and peel them.
Step 2
In a pan, add oil and deep fry the potatoes. Take off flame and keep aisde.
Step 3
In the same pan, add onions and saute for 3-4 minutes. Keep aside.
Step 4
Next add ghee to the pan, add cloves and tejpatta.
Step 5
Add chopped onion and tomato. Fry till turn golden brown.
Step 6
Now add ginger and garlic and fry again.
Step 7
Take off flame and let the mix cool.
Step 8
In a blender, add the mixture. Make sure you take out the tejpatta. Make a smooth paste.
Step 9
Add some water if required.
Step 10
Transfer this mix in the same pan and add all the spices - turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cook well.
Step 11
Add some milk, potatoes and onions.
Step 12
Sprinkle salt and cook for 10 minutes.

Add garam masala, kasuri methi and cream. Cook well.
