Ingredients

  • 2 cup Sabudana
  • 2 Boiled potatoes
  • 1 Beetroot
  • Salt/Sendha namak to taste
  • 2 tbsp Chopped green chili
  • 2 tbsp Chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Dry mango powder
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Ghee/oil for cooking

Instructions

Step 1
Wash sabudana properly and then soak for atleast 2-4 hours.
Step 2
Boil potatoes, peel and mash them. Keep aside.
Step 3
Wash beetroot, peel it and grate it.
Step 4
In a bowl, add soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes and grated beetroot.
Step 5
Take a pan, add some ghee and cumin seeds.
Step 6
Transfer beetroot and sabudana mixture to pan and cook for a while. Switch off flame and let the mix cool.
Step 7
Once the mix cools, add to a bowl and sprinkle salt, red chilli, dry mango powder and mix well.
Step 8
Next add coriander leaves, lemon juice and chilli. Mix all the ingredients.
Step 9
In the same pan, add oil for frying.
Step 10
Using some oil in your palm, make round tikkis using the mixture.

Fry the tikkis in oil till golden and crisp.
