Ingredients

  • 5 Large Eggs
  • Separated
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Finely Grated Lemon Zest
  • 2/3 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • Melted
  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2/3 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 2 Cups Whole Milk

Instructions

Step 1
Begin by placing a pan, half filled with water in the center of the oven and heat it at 350 degrees.
Step 2
Spray some cooking spray on small round baking dishes, called ramkins.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice and butter.
Step 4
In another bowl, whisk together sugar, flour and salt, add half of it to the egg mixture and half of it to the milk.
Step 5
Keep whisking the egg whites till a soft foam arises.
Step 6
Pour the dough in the round dish and place it inside the pan placed in the oven for 45 minutes.
Step 7
Take it out and serve warm!
