Ingredients

  • 1 French bread
  • 4 Whole Eggs
  • 1 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Powdered Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • Freshly Grated Nutmeg
  • 1 Stick Cold Butter
  • Plus More For Serving And Greasing Warm Pancake Syrup
  • 1 Cup Fresh Blueberries

Instructions

Step 1
Start by greasing the pan with butter and add equally cut bread cubes to it.
Step 2
Then in a different bowl, whisk the eggs, and then to this add milk, sugar , brown sugar and vanilla essence and cream.

Mix all these ingredients well and pour them on to the bread, then cover the pan with a lid and refrigerate overnight.
Step 4
Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and some nutmeg in another bowl.
Step 5
Add butter and mix with a fork until the mixture looks like fine pebbles.
Step 6
Transfer this in to a re-sealable bag and store in the fridge.
Step 7
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. And take out the re-sealable bag to sprinkle over the top.
Step 8
Bake for about 45 minutes for a moist texture and for an hour for a crispy one.

Finally garnish it with butter, pancake syrup, blueberries and serve!
