When time is running out and you have to fix up a quick and a light lunch there is nothing better than a bowl of tortilla chips with a freshly whipped dip. The recipes for a dip can vary, and, depending on the available ingredients you can always alter your preparation plan. One of the easiest available ingredients is curd and is consumed in a variety of ways.

In case you love to throw parties and into barbequing, this is the dip you need. Chef Vandana Tomar of Buon Cibo decodes a perfect and a quick recipe for chilli barbeque dip



  • Hung curd
  • Mayonnaise
  • Barbeque Sauce
  • Peri Peri powder
  • Garlic
  • Sriracha sauce or chilli sauce
  • Salt to taste



  • Blend the curd to smoothen it up
  • Add 2 teaspoons of barbeque sauce
  • Add 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise, for the extra kick
  • ½ teaspoon of peri powder
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of grated garlic 
  • Salt to taste
  • Serve it with nachos or cucumber sticks


Once the recipe is done, serve it with your choice of freshly baked bread or vegetable sticks.
