How To Make Potato Vermicelli Cutlet?

  • In a pan, melt the ghee and roast the Semiya for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Then, boil the vermicelli for 2-3 minutes . Drain it  and allow it to cool.
  • After that, add corn flour in the bowl of vermicelli and mix well.
  • Then, add bread crumbs, boiled potatoes, ginger paste, chilli flakes, cumin powder, garam masala, chaat masala, green chillies,  and salt to taste.
  • Mix all of the ingredients well. Take a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a cutlet (cylindrical shaped).
  • Now prepare slurry. For this, take 2 tbsp corn flour, 2 tbsp maida, 1/4 tsp pepper powder and tsp salt to taste in a small bowl. Make the batter smooth by adding water.
  • Dip the cutlets in the corn flour slurry one at a time, then roll them in vermicelli.
  • On a low-medium flame, deep fry it. Keep frying until cutlet turns golden and crispy.
  • Serve hot!
