    Can you even imagine your winter diet without peanuts? Crunchy and delicious peanuts are our favourite snacking option during the chilly winters. We often binge on it while soaking in the winter sun with some revari and gajjak. 

    Ever thought of making a peanut halwa? Another way to enjoy this nutty treat this winter is by turning it into delicious halwa which you can enjoy just anytime! 

    How To Make Peanut Halwa?

    • In a pan, add peanuts and dry roast for 5 minutes. 
    • Once completely cool, blend peanuts into a coarse powder. 
    • In the same pan, add some ghee and grinded peanuts. 
    • Cook on low flame till golden brown. 
    • Add milk to the pan and keep stirring continuously. 
    • Once the milk is soaked in the peanuts, add sugar and mix well. 
    • Next add elaichi powder and stir. 
    • When the halwa starts to leave the sides, take off flame. 
    • Garnish with saffron strands.

    • 1 Cup Peanuts
    • 1 Cup Milk
    • Ghee As Required
    • 1/4 Cup Sugar
    • 1/4 Tsp Cardamom Or Elaichi Powder
    • Kesar For Garnishing


    Step 1
    In a pan, dry roast peanuts.
    Step 2
    Once cool, grind to make a coarse powder.
    Step 3
    Add ghee and ground peanuts to the pan and cook on low flame.
    Step 4
    Pour in milk and stir continuously.
    Step 5
    Once the peanuts soak all the milk, add the sugar.
    Step 6
    Sprinkle cardamom powder.
    Step 7
    When the halwa starts to leave the sides, take off flame.
