Paratha is something that can easily make anyone’s mouth water. Mughlai egg paratha is no exception and the word is enough to make you feel hungry. Parathas are usually a North Indian recipe but Mughlai paratha is a Bengali recipe and one is enough to make your tummy full but no amount of it is enough to satisfy your taste buds.

How To Make Mughlai Egg Paratha At Home?

  • Firstly, make a dough of all purpose flour by mixing it with salt and oil. To get the right consistency of the dough, add water bit by bit.
  • Now, make the stuffing by adding all the spices to the eggs and beat it. Now add cottage cheese and bread crumbs to the mixture and mix it well.
  • Now flatten the dough to make paratha and put the filling on it. Then, fold it from all four sides.
  • Now, take some oil in a pan and fry the paratha until it turns golden brown.
  • Mughlai stuffed paratha is now ready to be served.

  • Oil
  • 150 Gram All Purpose Flour
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • 3 Egg
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • ½ Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ Tsp Chat Masala
  • ¾ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • Few Coriander Leaves
  • ½ Bowl Grated Paneer
  • ½ Bowl Bread Crumbs


Step 1
Take all purpose flour. Add salt and oil to it. Mix it well.
Step 2
Add water bit by bit and keep mixing continuously. After it is ready, add some more oil and mix again. Your dough is ready. Now, keep aside for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Now take 3 eggs and add green chillies, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, salt and chat masala. Beat the mixture.
Step 4
Add finely chopped onions and finely chopped coriander leaves to the egg mixture. Mix it well.
Step 5
Add cottage cheese and bread crumbs. Mix it well.

Now take the dough and flatten it out to make a paratha.

Put the filling on it and fold it from all four sides. Apply water on the sides so that it doesn’t open.

Now take some oil in a pan and fry the paratha in the oil on medium flame. Keep checking it by turning it again and again.

Once the paratha turns golden brown, take it off the stove.
