Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup unsalted pista
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  • 1 cup milk
  • 50 gms khoya
  • 1/2 tbsp rose water
  • Sugar as per taste
  • water

Instructions

Step 1
Blanch the dry fruits except the cashews and then drain the water. Peel their skin and chop them into small pieces.
Step 2
Soak the rice in water for an hour.
Step 3
In a blender, throw in the cashews and water to make a paste.
Step 4
Take a non-stick pan, cook the rice and milk, and after a few minutes, stir in the cashew paste and khoya.
Step 5
After the rice is done, add in the sugar, the rest of the mewa and rose water.
Step 6
Cook on low heat and stir occasionally.
Step 7
Serve hot or let it cool and refrigerate for a bit.
