Sweet potato parathas are one of the most loved stuffed parathas, especially in North India. These hot and crispy parathas are the perfect option for days when you just feel like enjoying a meal while snuggling in your bed on a cold winter morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 boiled sweet potatoes
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt as required
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • Ghee as required
  • 2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 3/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Instructions

Step 1
Boil sweet potatoes, take off flame and mash them well.
Step 2
In a bowl, add all the spices, turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix well.
Step 3
Now sieve wheat flour in the bowl. Also, add 2 tbsp of ghee. Mix well.
Step 4
Next add mashed sweet potatoes and knead a soft dough mixing all the ingredients.
Step 5
Make small balls from the dough and using the rolling pin make parathas.
Step 6
Take a non stick pan and cook the paratha. Use oil to turn the parathas crispy from both the sides.
