The plum crumble is a classic dish that involves simple ingredients and easy cooking steps and is rather very tasty and delicious when served as dessert. Let's take a look at its recipe here.

  • The first step is to heat the oven at 200 degrees celsius and then in a dish, add the plums at the base, then the sugar, orange zest, cinnamon and the flour and finally trickle some water, about 2 Tablespoons over this mixture.
  • Put all the crumble ingredients into a food processor and then mixture till all the ingredients get mixed well.
  • Spread the crumble over the plum dish and then bake for about 30- 40 minutes till it becomes golden brown. Wait for 15 minutes before serving and then serve it with your favourite custard or cream.

  • 800g Ripe Cooking Plums
  • 50g Light Brown Sugar
  • Finely Grated Zest 1 Orange
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Plain Flour For The Crumble
  • 250g Plain Flour
  • 150g Butter
  • 80g Caster Sugar
  • 80g Demerara Sugar
  • 50g Ground Almonds


Step 1
Heat the oven to 200 degrees celsius.

Then in a baking dish, add the plums, sugar, orange zest and the flour along with 2 tablespoons of water.
Step 3
Then take then other ingredients and put them in the food processor.
Step 4
Mix them until a sticky but inconsistent mix is prepared.
Step 5
After this, add the crumble from the food processor to the plum dish.
Step 6
Bake the plum crumble for 30-40 minutes and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Serve with custard or cream!
