  • Start by preheating your oven at 375 degrees before preparing the quiche.
  • Then take a medium-sized nonstick skillet and melt the butter in it. After the butter has been melted and turned golden then add chopped onions and fry them till golden brown and lightly crispy. Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool.
  • Take a bowl and add eggs to it, whisk it a little then add half and half and salt-pepper to it then give it a good whisk again. 
  • Next, take the diced ham and cheese and leave a little bit of cheese to sprinkle before adding it all to the egg mixture.
  • By this time the onion would have cooled so take the onions and stir them in the mixture. 
  • Take your baking dish and add the pie crust, and transfer the ham and cheese filling to it. Set this on a baking sheet and bake your quiche for 45 minutes. 
  • Serve chilled or warm!

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 Medium Yellow Chopped Onion
  • 4 Beaten Eggs
  • 1 Cup Half-And-Half
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 Cups Diced Ham
  • 1 Cup Shredded Swiss Cheese
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Deep Dish Frozen Pie Crust


Step 1
Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
Step 2
Fry the onions in melted butter and cool them down.
Step 3
Then in a bowl take eggs, salt and pepper and half and half then whisk nicely.

Afterward add the ham and cheese to the egg mixture and save some cheese to sprinkle on top.
