How To Make Ragi Malpua

  • This recipe is all about mixing different flours and whisking in some powdered sugar as per taste.
  • Make a batter using coconut, honey, melon seeds and cardamom powder.
  • Make the malpuas in some rice bran oil but keep in mind that they do not fold or become too crisp.

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp Ragi Atta
  • 4 Tbsp Whole Wheat Atta
  • 2 Tbsp Powdered Oats
  • Powdered Sugar
  • 3-4 Tbsp Milk
  • Rice Bran Oil Per Malpua
  • 2 Tbsp Grated Coconut
  • 2 Tbsp Melon Seeds
  • 2 Tsp Green Cardamom Powder
  • 2 Tsp Organic Honey

Instructions

Step 1
Roast the seeds and coconut for 2 minutes on a dry pan and then turn it off.
Step 2
Add in the honey and cardamom powder and mix well.
Step 3
Now, mix all the flours and make a paste with some milk. Fold in some sugar as per your requirement and whisk well.
Step 4
Take a flat pan (I take the dosa pan) and heat some rice bran oil.
Step 5
Fill a ladle with the batter and pour it in the center.
Step 6
Let it brown a little until you see the edges cook and then flip it to cook the other side.
Step 7
It should not be very crisp nor very lucid.
Step 8
Fill in the coconut mixture and serve.
