You must have had the Bengali delicacy, sandesh. However, you can add your own twist to this dish and enhance the taste by adding chocolate flavour. Chocolate flavoured sandesh can be prepared in some time and doesn't require much efforts. Try this recipe and I'm sure your kids will love it.
- Start by boiling milk at low heat. Add salt to curdle it.
- Now, switch off the flame and strain the milk. Pass it through a muslin cloth and put it in a tray.
- Put the tray in a refrigerator.
- In a double boiler, add chocolate chunks, butter, sugar and cocoa powder.
- Stir it well until you get a smooth sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the mixture in the refrigerator.
- Refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
- Cut it into any shape you like and garnish with chocolate chips.
