Instructions

Step 1
First, take a large mixing bowl and add half a cup of maida, 1/4 cup of corn flour, 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder, and salt as per your liking.
Step 2

Step 3
Now, add the boiled gobhi (cauliflower) florets to the batter.
Step 4
Simultaneously, take a kadhai and add cooking oil for deep frying.
Step 5
Now, after the florets are coated evenly with the batter, put them, one at a time, in the medium hot oil.
Step 6
Fry the florets on medium flame. Stir occasionally and make sure that they don’t stick to each other.
Step 7
Once you notice that the florets are golden and evenly fried, then, remove them from the kadhai with a slotted spoon and place them on a kitchen paper towel to remove excess oil.

Then, add finely chopped ginger, garlic, spring onion and slit green chilli.
Step 10
Saute the ingredients till the raw aroma of both ginger and garlic goes away.

Then, add onion petals and cubed capsicum. Stir them continuously until the vegetables slightly shrink.
Step 12
After that, lower the flame and add tomato sauce, soy sauce, chilli sauce, salt to taste and a pinch of sugar. Mix very well.
Step 13
Add corn flour paste (mix 1 teaspoon of corn starch with 2 tablespoons of water) to the kadhai and give it a stir. It will give the required thickness and shine to the dish.
