This is a super easy recipe and is a bit healthier than any other kheer recipe. We have added sugar but you can switch with jaggery as well. Tweak it as per your choice as this is the basic recipe here. 

To make this kheer, you simply need to roast all ingredients and then boil them together. It can be cooked by anyone!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Ghee
  • Dry Fruits Of Your Choice
  • 6 Tbsp Semolina/Suji/Rava
  • 4 Cups Milk
  • Sugar As Per Taste
  • 1/4 Tbsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions

Step 1
In a heavy bottomed pan, heat ghee and roast the dry fruits until golden brown.
Step 2
Once done, keep them aside and then roast the semolina on low flame, in the same pan until aromatic.
Step 3
Now add milk and sugar and stir well to bring it to a boil.
Step 4
Keep stirring until you get the kheer at a slightly thick consistency or of the consistency you like.
Step 5
Now add the cardamom powder and roasted dry fruits.
Step 6
The kheer is ready but you can serve it a little chilled as well, as you like it.
