  • Add water to the flattened rice and let them soak for 2 minutes till they soften. 
  • Then drain the water off the rice and wait for a minute after this. 
  • Next, heat the ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, allow them to crackle, and then add cumin seeds, ginger, and green chilies and fry them all together for a minute. Once they are done, turn off the gas and let it all sit.
  • Now take the rice and add this seasoning you just prepared to it. Then add yogurt and grated coconut along with cucumber and salt. 
  • Serve after garnishing with chopped coriander and there you go!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Poha
  • 1/4 Cup Curd
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Coconut
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon Ghee
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Green Chillies

Instructions

Step 1
Soak the flattened rice for 2 minutes then strain and keep them aside.
Step 2
In a pan, prepare a seasoning with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ginger and green chilies.
Step 3
Then in a separate bowl, mix the soaked rice with the seasoning.
Step 4
Now add yogurt, grated coconut, cucumber and salt to taste.
Step 5
Garnish with coriander to serve!
