Ingredients

  • 6-7 bread slices
  • roasted almonds
  • 3 cups of milk
  • pistachios as required
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • a pinch of saffron
  • 7-8 raisins
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • refined oil as required

Instructions

Step 1
To prepare this irresistible dessert, start with removing the edges of the bread and keep them aside. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry bread slices till they turn golden brown in colour.
Step 2
Take a separate pan and boil milk in it. Once it starts to boil, add cardamom powder, saffron powder and sugar to it and mix well.

After a few minutes, add fried bread slices to the mixture and cook until it starts to thicken.
