Ingredients

  • 1 cup washed basmati rice
  • 1/2 cup boiled corn kernels
  • 3/4 cup chopped methi leaves
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp haldi
  • 1/2 tsp green chillies
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 whole black peppercorns
  • cinnamon

Instructions

Step 1
In a pressure cooker, add some oil, peppercorn, cloves and cinnamom. Saute for a minute.
Step 2

Now add sliced onions and saute for 1-2 minutes.

Add methi leaves and boiled sweet corn. Saute.
Step 4
Next add all spices, 2 cups of water and rice. Mix all the ingredients well.
Step 5
Pressure cook for 2 whistles and your rice is ready.
