Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 10 almond silvers
  • 1/2 kg grated carrots
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 3 cups milk

To prepare this mouth-watering dessert, start with heating ghee in a pan. Shallow fry nuts and raisins for few seconds and keep them aside.

In the same pan, add grated carrot and saute for a few minutes while stirring it continuously.

Next, add milk and bring the carrots to boil. Once it starts boiling, lower the flame and continue cooking it until it reduced to 1/3rd of the original.

Add sugar and mix it well. Cook for about 4-6 minutes, then add fried raisins and nuts. Mix well and turn off the flame.
